1993 Hunting Trips Reports

9/30/93 – 10/3/93 Fall Dove Retreat
31 men and seven sons (38 participants) had a great time at the 3rd Annual Fall Dove Retreat on 9/30/93 – 10/3/93 at the Camel Mills ranch near Pearsall. Approximately 400 dove were taken over the three-day hunt. Thanks to Mark Weaver for his sermon, Paul Wilson who led us in one of the “ropes course” teamwork exercises and who organized and led the event, and Ken Farmer, Kevin Font, Jesse Price, Tim Price, and Rick Reynolds who allowed us to hunt on their dove lease.
9/1/93 Dove Hunt
Nine men participated in the first-ever FCS Opening Day Dove Hunt on a day lease on 9/1/93. Kevin Font, Derrich Pollock, and I, Randy Rowley, limited out.
January 1993 Winter Dove Retreat
23 men and four sons (27 participants) attended the 3rd Annual Winter Dove Retreat in January 1993 on James Wade’s property. Although large amounts of dove were not present the fellowship was great. Special thanks to James for making his land available to the Club and to Mark Weaver for his sermon.
