15 people participated at an FCS meeting. The minutes have been lost.
10/6/94 General Meeting minutes
The meeting was held at Eddy Chance’s home. Three officers, 10 members, five junior members and one visitor were present (14 participants). The October -December Hunting His Way was distributed along with the 1995 FCS Calendar of Events and flyers on the upcoming Rifle/Handgun/Shotgun Shoot, Striped Bass Fishing Trip and the FCS Christmas Meeting. The rented video “Monster Bucks II”, that featured the new Boone & Crockett world record typical whitetail, was shown. The minutes from the business meeting are as follows:
- The meeting was called to order by the vice President.
- A discussion was held on the Annual Rifle/Handgun/Shotgun Shoot scheduled for 10/15/94 at the Cherry Creek Rifle Range.
- A discussion was held on a non-chartered Striped Bass Fishing Trip scheduled for 10/29/94 on Lake Buchanan.
- A discussion was held on the Annual Winter Dove Hunt/Retreat scheduled for 1/5/95- 1/8/95 at Camel Mills Ranch.
- A discussion was held on bow hunting opportunities for hogs near Granger Lake.
- A discussion was held on adding a rabbit hunt to the 1995 FCS calendar.
- A discussion was held on a proposal for a revision on membership requirements for Junior Members by Randy Rowley. Paul Wilson seconded the motion. A vote was taken. The proposal passed unanimously and will be added to the bylaws. The new junior members section in its entirety is as follows:
- Junior Membership
- Junior club membership is available to minor male offspring of club members. Said offspring are not required to complete an application and no vote will be taken concerning membership acceptance. Club members offspring will not be required to pay a membership due and will not receive adult membership benefits (cap, patch, etc.) unless the father wishes to purchase them.

- Other minor males, whose fathers are not members of the club, can become junior members but must complete the adult membership requirements except for the membership due. Said applicants must also have one of their parents or guardians permission to join the club and participate in club outings. Junior club members in this category also will not receive adult membership benefits (cap, patch, etc.) unless a parent or guardian grants permission for their purchase.
- Junior club membership is available to minor males (under 18 years old) without regard to race, national origin, denominational preference, age or political persuasion.
- A discussion was held on finding an FCS season dove lease instead of two day lease hunts. The majority of members present were in favor of the proposal to search for such a lease. Paul Wilson will head up the search.

10/4/94 Officer’s Meeting Minutes
The meeting was held at Randy Rowley’s home. Two officers were present. The minutes from the business meeting are as follows:
- The meeting was called to order by the President.
- A discussion was held on the Annual Rifle/Handgun/Shotgun Shoot scheduled for 10/15/94 at the Cherry Creek Rifle Range.

8/4/94 General Meeting minutes
The meeting was held at Randy Rowley’s home. Two officers, 10 members, two junior members and two visitors were present (16 participants). The July -September Hunting His Way was distributed along with the 1994 FCS Calendar of Events and flyers on the upcoming Dart Shoot, Sporting Clays Shoot, Opening Saturday Dove Hunt, Fall Dove Hunt/Retreat and the next General Meeting. A home video and a rented video on tracking deer before and after the shot were viewed. The minutes from the business meeting are as follows:
- The meeting was called to order by the President. A discussion was held on a Dart Shoot scheduled for 8/13/94 at Archery Country.
- A discussion was held on the Semi-Annual Sporting Clays Shoot scheduled for 8/27/94 at Capitol City Trap & Skeet Club.
- A discussion was held on an Opening Saturday Dove Hunt scheduled for 9/3/94.
- A discussion was held on the Annual Fall Dove Hunt/Retreat at Camel Mills Ranch scheduled for 9/22/94- 9/25/94.
- A discussion was held on a non-chartered Striped Bass Fishing Trip scheduled for 10/29/94 on Lake Buchanan.
- A discussion was held on a proposal by me, Randy Rowley, for an addition to the bylaws on how proposals should be handled. John Murray seconded the motion. A vote was taken. The proposal passed unanimously and will be added to the bylaws. It became effective immediately (8/4/94). The proposal in its entirety is as follows:
- Amendment Proposals to the Club Bylaws and/or Statement of Faith
- Only FCS members can make amendment proposals.
- Amendment proposals can be in written or oral form and can be made during the “New Business” section of any general meeting. If a member wishes to make a proposal but will be unable to attend the next scheduled general meeting, he can mail the proposal to the President. The President or his designee will read the absent member’s amendment proposal at the next scheduled general meeting during the “New Business” section.
- Verbal proposals require a verbal “second” in order to be put to a vote. Voting for verbal proposals is accomplished through a show of hands. A majority vote carries.
- Written proposals that are made during the bi-annual officer candidate and proposal survey do not require a “second.” Voting for said proposals is accomplished through a written ballot. A majority vote carries.
- A discussion was held on a proposal by me for a change in the bylaws on club membership requirements. The proposal was seconded by Eddy Chance. A discussion ensued. Modifications were proposed. A proposal was made by me to accept the proposal with modifications. The proposal was seconded by Charlie Batts. A vote was taken. The proposal passed unanimously. The new membership requirements will become effective 1/1/95. The bylaws will be changed accordingly.

Club Memberships

- Club membership options will include annual, 3 year and 5 year memberships.
- Club “dues” will be mandatory for membership consideration and membership renewal.
Proposed membership fee: One year -$15.00. Three year -$40.00 (a $5.00 savings). Five year -$65.00 (a $10.00 savings).
Proposed membership benefits (conjectural depending upon costs).

- Club shirt or Club cap (alternate yearly)
- Club patch
- Club window decal
- Quarterly newsletter (mailed to your home)
- Yearly directory (mailed to your home)
- The right to participate in club votes
- The right to borrow (check out) items from the club tape and book library
- Non-members (men who have attended a FCS event but who have chosen to not join the Club) will not be allowed to participate in Club votes, make amendment proposals to the club bylaws and/or statement of faith and purchase club shirts, caps, patches or window decals. Newsletters, flyers, directories, and other FCS publications will continue to be made available to non-members but will not be mailed to them.
- Prospects (men who have never attended a FCS event) who live outside of the greater Austin area will receive a one-time mailout of materials at the request of a member. Prospects who live in the greater Austin area can receive materials at FCS events. After a prospect has been mailed a mailout of materials he will be removed from the mailing list and not placed back on unless he becomes a member.
- Inactive members (men who have at one time joined the FCS club but have chosen to not renew their memberships) become active members upon receipt of a membership fee.
- Club membership is available to men (18 years old and older) without regard to race, denominational preference, national origin, age or political persuasion.
- Junior club membership is available to minor male offspring of club members.

The meeting was held at Jim’s Restaurant. Two officers were present.
- The meeting was called to order by the President.
- A discussion was held on a Dart Shoot scheduled for 8/13/94 at Archery Country.

6/2/94 General Meeting minutes
The meeting was held at Ken Farmer’s home. Ten members were present. A home video of the Rabbit Hunt was viewed. The minutes from the business meeting are as follows:
- The meeting was called to order by the President.
- A discussion was held on the upcoming Catfishing Trip at Rainbow Lake.
- A discussion was held on the upcoming Family Campout at inks Lake State Park.
- The meeting was closed by the President.
4/7/94 General Meeting minutes
The meeting was held at Larry Dowden’s home. Ten members and three sons were present (13 participants). The April – June Hunting His Way was distributed along with the 1994 FCS Calendar of Events, flyers on the upcoming Rabbit Hunt and Canoe Trip, and the 1994 FCS Directory. A home movie and a hog hunting video were viewed. The minutes from the business meeting are as follows:
- The meeting was called to order by the Vice President.
- The FCS logo (created by Aaron Font and computer enhanced by Keith Syler) was discussed. Suggestions were made to improve the logo.
- A discussion was held on the upcoming Rabbit Hunt at the Headquarters Ranch.
- A discussion was held on the upcoming Canoe Trip down the Guadalupe River.
- A discussion was held on planning a hog hunt.
- A discussion was held on the availability of shotgun shooting lesions.
- A discussion was held on the most appropriate method for club members to make proposals. The proposal was tabled.
- The meeting was closed by the Vice President.
4/5/94 Officer’s Meeting minutes
The meeting was held at Jim’s Restaurant. All three officer’s and the founder (four total participants) were present. The minutes from the business meeting are as follows:
- The meeting was called to order by the President.

- A discussion was held on the upcoming Rabbit Hunt at the Headquarters Ranch.

2/3/94 General Meeting minutes
The meeting was held at Paul Wilson’s home. Fifteen members, two sons, and two guests were present (19 participants). The January – March Hunting His Way was distributed along with the 1994 FCS Calendar of Events, flyers on the upcoming Sweethearts Appreciation Dinner at UR Cooks and the upcoming Catfish Fishing Trip at Rainbow Lake, and the 1994 FCS Directory. A home video and a bass fishing video were viewed. The minutes from the business meeting are as follows:
- The meeting was called to order by the President.
- A vote was taken for an FCS logo. A hand drawn logo by Aaron Font was selected by majority vote. The logo was computer enhanced by Keith Syler. A big thank you to all of you who took the time to draw and submit a logo design(s). Thanks also to Keith for giving of his time and talents to the club.
- A plea was made for 1994 club dues by the Treasurer.
- A discussion was held on the upcoming Sweethearts Apprec1at1on Dinner at UR Cooks.
- A discussion was held on the upcom1ng Catfish Fishing Trip at Rainbow Lake.
- A discussion was held on a striped bass fishing trip.
- A discussion was held on a future rabbit hunt.
- A discussion was held on a sporting clays shoot to benefit the Great Hills Christian School.

2/1/94 Officer’s Meeting minutes
The meeting was held at Jim’s Restaurant. All three officers were present. Business Meeting minutes:
- The meeting was called to order by the President.
- A discussion was held on FCS logo submissions.
- A discussion was held on the need to solicit for 1994 Club dues.
- A discussion was held on the upcoming Sweethearts Appreciation Dinner at UR Cooks.
- A discussion was held on the upcoming Catfish Fishing Trip at Rainbow Lake.
- A discussion was held on a future rabbit hunt.
- The meeting was closed by the President.
