However, because Randy and company are moving during the weekend of 7/22/95 – 7/23/95 (please see Service Projects below) and in all probability the house will not be ready for company, Randy asked Eddy Chance to switch meeting dates with him. Therefore, the 8/3/95 meeting will be at Eddy’s home (11921 Acorn Creek, 512-331-7828) and the 10/5/95 meeting will be at Randy’s new home (11612 Birchbark Trail, 512-963-0003.
- A reminder was made concerning the next Annual Dart shoot scheduled for 9/9/95 at Archery Country. Editor’s Note: the date was erroneously reported at the 6/1/95 General Meeting by the Vice President to be 9/2/95. An error was also made on the 4/21/95 revision of the 1995 FCS Calendar of events (it was stated to be set for 8/3/95). However, the date has been 9/9/95 since the 1995 FCS Calendar of events was published on 1/5/95. Please accept my apologies for the confusion and errors.
- A reminder was made concerning the next Annual Fall Dove Hunt/ Retreat scheduled for 9/21/95 through 9/24/95 at Camel Mills Ranch. Note: the dates and location might change, secure a flyer in August or call Paul Wilson or Randy Rowley to confirm the dates and locations. A discussion was also held on the problem of FCS members and guests violating daily bag limits. The members present decided that participants in the hunt must sign an agreement that they will abide by all game laws of the State of Texas and that failure to do so will result in having to go home. The Club Game Warden and officers present will be responsible for enforcing the game laws. The members present felt that it was imperative that our Club stress that game laws must be followed (especially at FCS outings).
- Randy Rowley made a motion to change the bylaws and pre-membership application to allow applicants for club membership to have a vote on their pre-membership application during the same meeting that they fill the application out. A discussion was held. Paul Wilson recommended that for membership purposes the Annual Fall and Winter Dove Hunt/Retreats be considered official FCS meetings. Randy Rowley added the above to his motion. The motion was seconded by Paul Wilson. A vote was taken. The motion passed unanimously. The addendum will be added to the bylaws membership section. The pre-membership application will be changed accordingly.
- The meeting was closed by the President.

- A discussion was held on allowing club members to purchase additional club paraphernalia (caps, patches, window decals, T-shirts, etc.). Randy Rowley made a motion that members be allowed to buy additional club paraphernalia at cost for themselves and their immediate families only. Paul Wilson seconded the motion. A vote was taken. The motion passed unanimously. The addendum will be added to the bylaws membership section.
- A discussion was held on allowing non-members to purchase club paraphernalia or to be given club paraphernalia by a member. It was decided that the current bylaw regarding non-member purchase was adequate and appropriate and should stand as is. Non-members will not be allowed to purchase club paraphernalia or receive it as a gift from a member (members see 8. above). This will ensure that only men who have been approved as FCS members by the procedures established in the bylaws will be allowed to exhibit club paraphernalia.
