10/24/97 – 10/25/97 Fall Family Camp Out
Seven families (26 participants) enjoyed beautiful weather and fellowship at the Fall Family Camp Out at Pedernales Falls State Park on 10/24/97 – 10/25/97. Four demented souls (including yours truly, Randy Rowley) braved the chilling waters of the Pedernales river. It was just a wee bit nippy. Thanks to John Murray for bringing his telescope and Jeff McFarland for organizing the event.
5/9/97 – 5/11/97 Spring Family Camp Out
Eighteen people (one officer, one member, three guests, four wives, one mother-in-law, and eight children) had a great time at the Spring Family Camp Out at Inks Lake State Park on 5/9/97 – 5/11/97. We went through a long line of thunderstorms to get to Inks Lake but never got a drop of rain while there.
