7/25/98 Catfish Fishing Trip
Ron Denison and crew were the only participants at the Annual Catfish Fishing Outing on Saturday, July 25 1998, at Rainbow Lake. Ron reported that the fishing was good.
4/25/98 Bass Fishing Trip
Two men had a good time at the Spring Bass Fishing Trip on Lake Bastrop on April 25, 1998 despite a strong wind. I, Randy Rowley, caught the largest fish (a 4 1/2 lb., 22″ long largemouth) on a clear “Baby Torpedo” (which was also my largest largemouth bass to date), however, Derrich Pollock caught the most (seven bass) on Green Fleck Zoom Finesse Worms.
