12/6/01 North Austin Chapter Meeting Minutes
The meeting was held at Mr. Charlie Batts’ home. Three members and three former members attended (six participants). A discussion was held on upcoming events. Both the President and Vice President were working out of town and the Treasurer had to work late. The President will take vacation time for future FCS meetings to ensure that he will be there.
10/4/01 North Austin Chapter Meeting Minutes
The meeting was held at Eddy Chance’s home. Eight members and five youth members participated (13 participants). Elections for 1/1/02 – 12/31/03 were held. Randy Rowley was re-elected as President, Derrich Pollock was re-elected as Vice President, and Ronnie Ross was re-elected as Treasurer unanimously. Business Meeting Minutes:
- Propositions 1 and 2 were passed unanimously.

- Proposition 1 read “The Club should elect a President to be in charge of all of the Club’s chapters (Club President). This individual can also be a Chapter President. The election for this position will be held at the Winter Dove Retreat on 1/5/02”.
- Proposition 2 read “The Club should adopt Job Descriptions for its officer positions”. Proposed Job Descriptions were accepted. A verbal proposal was made by Randy Rowley to sponsor a “Kid Hunt” like Austin Christian Bass Club’s “Kid Fish”. Liability questions were raised. The idea was tabled for now. Derrich Pollock made a proposal for the Club to pay the extra expense to enlarge the Club website (an extra $1.00/megabyte/month). There was a second and a vote was taken. The proposal passed unanimously.
- A discussion was held on the upcoming 2002 calendar. Randy Rowley informed the group that the Annual Hog Hunt would probably be moved to February.
- Derrich Pollock gave an update on the new FCS shirt. He made a proposal for a polo style shirt (with a collar). The proposal was accepted.
8/9/01 North Austin Chapter Meeting Minutes
The meeting was held at Sea Island Shrimp House. Seven members, two youth members, and one guest participated (10 participants). Business Meeting Minutes:
- A discussion was held on the 8/25/01 Sporting Clays Shoot, the Annual Fall Dove Hunt/Retreat, and the Annual Duck/Goose Hunt.
- A discussion was held on creating additional FCS paraphernalia. The matter was tabled.
6/7/01 North Austin Chapter Meeting Minutes
The meeting was held at Larry Dowden’s home. One officer and four members were present (five total participants). Business Meeting Minutes:
- Membership renewals were collected.
- FCS evaluations were completed.
- A discussion was held on upcoming events.
4/12/01 North Austin Chapter Meeting Minutes
The meeting was held at Rudy’s Barbecue. One officer and one member were present (two total participants). Massive amounts of barbecue were eaten. Business Meeting Minutes:
- A proposal was made to modify the member’s fee and non-members fee for FCS Dove Retreats that was approved by the Club on 4/10/97 (but never implemented). Members would be charged the current hunt per day fee. Non-members would be charged the current hunt per day fee and in addition pay a $12.00 fee during the September hunt (designating September as the Club membership renewal month) and a $8.00 fee during the January hunt (prorated). The non-member can choose whether the $12.00 (or $8.00 as applicable) goes towards his Club membership or to the Club’s general fund. A vote was taken. The proposal passed unanimously. The Club Bylaws will be modified to reflect this change.
- A proposal was made to re-implement the pro-rated club membership due system that was approved by the Club on 6/3/99. The membership due would be $12.00 if a man joined the Club or renewed his membership in September, $11.00 in October, $10.00 in November, etc. (pro-rated $1 a month). A vote was taken. The proposal passed unanimously. The Club Bylaws will be modified to reflect this change.
- A proposal was made to allow Club members wives, girlfriends, and/or daughters to participate in all Club outings (they have participated in all club outings that are on the 2001 FCS Calendar with the exceptions of the Dove and Duck hunts). Participation would be limited to known female relatives/significant others of Club members. The proposal passed unanimously. The Club Bylaws will be modified to reflect this change.
- A discussion was held on creating a new FCS shirt. Interest will be established before any plans are made.
- A proposal was made by Dennis Koch to change the next Quarterly Sporting Clays shoot from May 12, 2001 to May 5, 2001 due to the possibility that some shooters may be going out of town for Mother’s Day. The proposal passed unanimously.

President’s note: because only officers were present at this meeting, the proposals from the February 25, 2001 meeting were revisited. Another meeting was scheduled for April 12, 2001 because many members were not able to attend the April 5, 2001 meeting.
3/24/01 South Austin Chapter Officers Meeting Minutes
The meeting was held at the El Potrillo Ranch. Two SAC officers and one NAC officer were present (three total participants). Massive amounts of food were eaten. Business Meeting Minutes:
- A proposal was made by Randy Rowley to implement a member’s fee and non-members fee for FCS Dove Retreats that was approved by the Club on 4/10/97 (but never implemented). Members would be charged the current hunt per day fee. Non-members would be charged the current hunt per day fee and in addition pay a $16.00 fee during the September hunt and a $12.00 fee during the January hunt. The non-member can choose whether the $16.00 (or $12.00 as applicable) goes towards his Club membership or to the Club’s general fund. A vote was taken. The proposal passed unanimously.

2/8/01 North Austin Chapter Meeting minutes
The meeting was held at Randy Rowley’s home. Three officers and eight members were present (11 total participants). The tape “Classic Hunts III” was shown. A discussion was held on upcoming events. Business Meeting Minutes:
- A motion to disband the club was not seconded; therefore, a vote was not taken (as in accordance with our bylaws).
- Officer elections were held. Officers until 12/31/01 are as follows: President – Randy Rowley, Vice President – Derrich Pollock, and Treasurer – Ronnie Ross.
- The 2001 calendar was accepted, and a discussion was held on upcoming events.
- A discussion was held on how to handle guest fees for future FCS Dove Hunts. The matter was tabled. The officers will further discuss the matter at an NAC Officers Meeting on 2/24/01. The NAC Officers will make recommendations to club members at the 4/5/01 NAC meeting.
- A discussion was held on Club dues. The matter was tabled. The officers will further discuss the matter at an NAC Officers Meeting on 2/24/01. The NAC Officers will make recommendations to club members at the 4/5/01 NAC meeting.
