Current Prayer Requests

President’s note: I, Randy Rowley, will run members prayer requests in the most recently received/updated order for 90 days.  After 90 days I will move them to the prayer requests archive page or the praises page.  Members please e-mail your Prayer Request(s) to me at

12/3/18 – Jeff Betts went to be with the Lord.  Pray for comfort and provision for his family.

11/29/18 – Roy Zengerle had successful eye surgery on 11/28/18.  Pray for a speedy recovery.

11/28/18 – Mike Tyson (the former owner of Austin Gun Club) passed away from cancer.  Pray that the Lord will comfort his family.

11/10/18 – Burl Fulenwider’s mother went to be with the Lord.  Pray for comfort for her family.

11/8/18 – Randy Rowley has a complete radial tear through the posterior horn/root junction of the medial meniscus in his left knee (the back of the knee).  The doctor gave him Cortisone shots in both knees (the right one is hurting more than the left one, probably from putting more weight on it).  He’ll see how those work.  If they don’t help, he might require surgery.

10/12/18 – FCS member Joe Schram had surgery on 10/11/18 to drain blood from his left eye.  Once the doctor’s cleared the blood, they discovered that he has a torn and partially detached retina, probably resulting from when he was rammed from behind two years ago by one of their male rams.  The Schram’s believe the altitude in Ecuador and time progressively worsened the condition until it finally came loose a couple of Saturdays ago.

He will have another surgery in April to remove the Silicone oil they placed in his eyeball.  The oil is supposed to help stop bleeding and keep the shape of the eyeball.  Please pray that the Lord will guide the surgeons.

Bible verse of the day

You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.
