12/04/21 FCS Bi-monthly Sporting Clays Shoot
Seven participants had a good time at the Bi-monthly FCS Sporting Clays Shoot at Capital City Clays in Austin. The weather was very pleasant for December with no wind. The average score (40.85/50) for all shooters combined today is the highest average for an FCS shoot to date.

10/30/21 – 10/31/21 NSCA National Sporting Clays Championship Tournament
Bruce Crockett and Steve Baker participated in the NSCA National Championship Tournament in San Antonio on 10/30/21 – 10/31/21. The total participants were 2,271, up from 1,762 in 2020, and 2,175 from 2019. The weather was perfect for a major shoot: low wind in the low-80’s. The courses were set more difficult this year as compared to 2020, which was reflected by the overall scores.

10/17/21 Capital City Clays ‘Smashing Pumpkins’ NSCA Sporting Clays Tournament
Four participants shot in the ‘Patriot Day’ NSCA Tournament. There were 87 registered shooters. The scores were as follows:

8/14/21 FCS Bi-monthly Sporting Clays Shoot
Six participants had a good time at the Bi-monthly FCS Sporting Clays Shoot at Capital City Clays in Austin. The weather was hot and muggy with no wind. Some of the targets on the Red Course were challenging.

Six participants had a good time at the Bi-monthly FCS Sporting Clays Shoot at Capital City Clays in Austin. The weather was mild and cool with no wind. The Red course had been newly reset.

1/23/21 FCS Bi-monthly Sporting Clays Shoot
Ten participants had a good time at the Bi-monthly FCS Sporting Clays Shoot at Capital City Clays in Austin. The weather was mild with no wind, which should have made for good scores, however, stations 6, 7, & 8 were on the scale of difficult tournament targets, which affected overall scores. As a group, only 62 out of 260 shots (23%) were hit on the last three stations.
First-time Guests were David Landry, Steve Loomis, Harold Miller, and Mike Miller.
