4/30/25 FCS Family Celebration Banquet

Twenty eight participants (tying our second best for a banquet) had a great time at La Margarita Restaurante in Round Rock. The food and the venue were great, as usual! Worship pastor Jeff Fair brought a message on stewardship over the game that we pursue and the necessity to clothe ourselves with Jesus that included his recount of two great elk hunts that featured his wife, Lori, arrowing a large bull at 30 yards and a December solo hunt with Jake the mule (see the pictures below).

Jeff has been the worship pastor at Great Hills Baptist Church (GHBC) since June 2020. He now serves as the executive pastor, overseeing the Worship Ministry. He holds a B.A. in Biblical studies at Criswell College. He was raised in full-time itinerant ministry, began church ministry in the Fall of 2001, and has served in Texas, Florida, New Mexico, and now back in Texas. Jeff and Lori have five children and live in Liberty Hill. Jeff’s time away from work includes hiking, skiing, hunting, and enjoying time with his family outdoors. His favorite things are the Texas Rangers, UT sports, creating/building things, and enjoying tasty food with friends.

The following awards were given. All recipients received a Fishouflage cap and a certificate.

2024 FCS Sporting Clays Shooter of the Year – Bruce Crockett

Bruce won four out of six FCS sporting clays shoots that he shot in. He also tied for second once (placing in five of six shoots).
Bruce averaged 43.00/50 for six shoots.
Bruce had the second highest score – 45/50 (twice)
