Bass Fishing Tournaments

Are you doing a summer bass tournament?

FCS has never done a bass tournament.  To be blunt, we have very few members who are interested in bass fishing (I usually have to beg for someone to go with me).  We only have two other bass fishermen with boats – Paul Irwin and Zack Tumlinson.  The other boat captains that we have (Wayne Weilnau, Daryl Shipper, and Kevin McConnell) are primarily bay fishermen (Kevin is also a striped/hybrid/white/black bass and crappie guide and fisherman).

If you want to head up one, I’ll happily put it on our calendar, but don’t expect much participation.

If you want to participate in a tournament with a Christian bass club, I recommend the Austin Christian Bass Club (ACBC).  They have a monthly tournament, usually on the third Saturday of each month and are a good group of guys.
