How To Help
The success of FCS is due to the Lord’s blessing and to the dedication of many volunteers from all over the state. Your experience, commitment, energy, ideas, and efforts directly affect the future of this ministry. There is no minimum amount of time that is required for individuals who feel God is calling them to volunteer with FCS. This list is not all inclusive. If you have an idea on how you can help that is not on this page, please voice it.
The following are a few ideas on how you can help:
- attend events;
- pray for our ministry and for prayer requests that are listed on our Current Prayer Requests and Prayer Requests Archive pages;
- join the Club (if you’re not a member) or renew your membership (if you’re already a member and it has expired) to help us meet our expenses;
- invite guests to attend FCS events and encourage them to join and get involved;
- wear your FCS shirts and caps as frequently as you can (this often results in people asking you questions about the Club – be prepared to answer them);
- promote FCS events in your church and Sunday School classes and be prepared to answer questions;
- participate in supporting membership discussions, polls, and votes (the only bad idea is an unvoiced one);
- donate additional money or hunting, fishing, camping related items; and
- volunteer and serve others (we need members to volunteer their time (start an FCS chapter, serve as an officer, volunteer to lead events, volunteer to lead devotionals or prayer times, volunteer to have an FCS promotion at your church, mentor a new hunter or youth, write a devotional, article, hunting or fishing story, etc.) and possessions (share equipment with others, volunteer your home for meetings, etc.)).
