Shooting Ranges

I am about done with Austin Rifle Club and wonder what your favorite rifle range is within an hour of Round Rock/Hutto?

I use Eagle Peak Shooting Range near Jonestown.  It’s a well-controlled and well-covered range with handgun (up to 25 yards), rifle (up to 300 yards), and shotgun (mechanical throwers only) ranges.  There’s a fee of $25 to get a range card.  You’ll have to attend a one-time orientation before you shoot the first time.  Their range fee is $25/day.  For more information see https://fcs-texas.org/archery-clay-target-and-shooting-ranges/.
