Who is Considered an Adult at FCS Events?
ByPeople who are 18 years of age or older are considered to be adults for purposes of figuring out a person’s share of lodging, gas, etc. For dividing up food costs minors will be treated on their size or how much they eat. For example, if a 12-year-old boy eats as much as a full-grown man he will be charged as a man, and not as a child, as the event coordinator or leader will have to buy a full-sized steak (for example) for him (if we’re camping and cooking our food) and not a half-sized one.
